How I made 40m/h from gifts and how you can to! (Money Making Method) (2024)

Everyone is so hyped about the new jerry island update, so I decided to test how much money I can make from 100m of red gifts even with the inflated prices. After, I recorded how long it took to determine an average hourly rate.

I instabought the gifts for 139k per meaning I was just able to buy just over 11 stacks of red gifts and immediately went to jerry island (which is open for the whole of December) and started to do the gifts.

If you are also planning to spend a stupid amount of money of red gifts, there are some important things to take into account.

1. You should either get a friend to give you all the drops from the gifts or just take turns in giving each other the same amount of gifts in order to actually be able to make money
2. If you plan on doing a lot of gifts, consider buying the gold gift talisman (or the other variants if you don’t have much money) which gives you 25% more coins and xp from gifts
3. Even though it is small, you should still have a pet equipped (I got around 300k pet xp from the 100m of gifts, the reindeer pet works well. With the purple gift talisman and a level 1 reindeer, my friend was able to level it up to lvl 35)

Best profit:

1. Golden Gift talisman (sells quick but requires 420 north stars)
2. Reindeer (Sells relatively quickly however is very cheap in terms of north stars, meaning you have to sell quite a few of them)
3. Purple Gift talisman (easy to buy and sell)
4. Uncommon talisman (easy to sell and buy)
5. Belt (sells quickly however it is cheap in terms of north stars meaning you have to sell quite a few of them)

Prices will vary as the price of red gifts goes down, but I would say Gold Gift talisman are likely to still be the most profit.

In total my partner and I got 1222 north stars from the gifts, and since he started with 43, I decided to subtract 43 from my total so I could purchase 5 golden gifts (which cost 420 north stars each) whilst still making it a fair test. To finish the rest of the north stars I had I just bought 8 reindeer.

For the drops, after giving all the items to me I had 22 snow minions, 2 snowman pets and 2 gift the fishes. In raw coins I made a total of 12.5m which was quite surprising.
We got a total of 5 santa tier gifts including 3, 1 million coin drops, a snowman pet and a gift the fish. The average drop for a santa tier gift is around 1 in 213 but from what we got it was 1 in 143, so I did get lucky.

After selling everything and subtracting 36m from the cost to buy golden gifts needed for the gold gift talisman, I was left with 120m and since the gift giving process took under 30 minutes, that means you would make around 40m an hour (not including time it takes to sell stuff).

And now for the scores. I will score this money making method on 3 factors, simplicity, coins per hour, and how fun it is.

For simplicity: 4 out of 5 - It’s a very simple and satisfying money making method, the only thing that can be a bit annoying is selling the snow minions after. It is also very easy to start as you don’t need many coins however doing it in bulk is still recommended.

Coins per hour: 3.5 out of 5 - despite being good money, it is very reliant on the amount of north stars and other rare drops you get which means it isn’t the most consistent so we can’t rate it very high, however it is also the luck factor of this money making method that makes it very fun. so doing it in large bulks is recommended.
Fun and enjoyment: 4 out of 5 - this method in our opinion is much more enjoyable compared to methods like mining and makes even more money depending on your luck. Compared to dungeons it might not be as rewarding but still offers a good alternative. The only reason it is not a 5 is because of having to upgrade snow minions in order to sell them.

Personally, I did not expect this to work as well as it did especially with the extremely inflated price of gifts so it is a method I can definitely recommend (at least for now!).
