A pair of new four-star prospects headline the latest edition of 247Sports weekly rankings notes, which also feature several noteworthy risers in the high three-star range as well. We released an update to the 2025 Top247 rankings this past week, and much more in-person evaluation context lies ahead this summer, including the Elite11 Finals, Overtime OT7 Nationals, Under Armour Future50, Texas 7-on-7 Championships, and more.

As for today's rankings notes, we start with those two new four-star prospects in the senior class. Seven more rankings risers populate today's feature, largely in the 2025 cycle as well. We also highlight a handful of scouting notes derived from recent live events.

New 4-star: Donovan Starr, 2025 CB

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (2)

Rising to four-star 90 status and firmly on Top247 watch is Donovan Starr, a 2025 athlete from Brentwood (Tenn.) Ravenwood. Exceptionally young for the 2025 cycle, Starr recently won the Tennessee 3A Division I state championships in the 100 meters (10.56) and high jump (6-6). Starr, who also plays basketball, high jumped 6-9 as a sophom*ore in Spring 2023. Starr plans upcoming official visits to Clemson, Auburn, Illinois, North Carolina, and Missouri.

"Two-way prospect who flashes good athleticism on both sides of the ball," said Cooper Petagna, 247Sports national scouting analyst. "Reactionary athlete who shows the ability to transition out of his backpedal and efficiently change directions. Perhaps more quick-twitch explosive than fluid and loose. Strong athletic profile bolstered the excellent track context."

New 4-star: Shedrick Sarratt Jr., 2025 OT/IOL

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (3)

After an impressive live evaluation earlier this month, Shedrick Sarratt Jr. -- a talented offensive lineman from Gaffney (S.C.) High School -- rises to a four-star 90 rating on 247Sports.Sarratt also plays basketball and that athleticism shows in pads and vs. strong competition on the elite camp circuit. South Carolina leads the 247Sports Crystal Ball for Sarratt. Here's an updated scouting report on the ascending, potentially position-versatile lineman.

Burly tackle prospect who could also easily slide to guard. Legit 6-4, 300 with good length. Big base and gets hips involved as a drive blocker. Often overwhelms high school defenders with engagement strength. Capable of winning phone-booth matchups even when combatant initiates contact. Owns encouraging combine testing data relative to size. Assembled a strong string of 1-on-1 reps at the Under Armour Charlotte Regional in May 2024. Also plays basketball, which certainly aids movement ability and checks the valuable multi-sport box. Gets upright at times and can improve balance/body control, particularly when engaged. Ample left-side reps with physical tools to stay there. May ultimately fit a right tackle spot more ideally in the long run. Should provide valuable roster flexibility for a high-major program. Projects as a potential multi-year starter with traits that suggest NFL Draft upside. -- Gabe Brooks, 247Sports national scouting analyst

Rating bump: Grayson Wilson, 2025 QB - Arkansas commit

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (4)

Maumelle (Ark.) Central Arkansas Christian's Grayson Wilson rises to 247Sports' highest three-star rating of 89 following a spring of multiple live performances that caught our attention. Wilson, who also plays baseball and basketball and has recorded excellent combine testing numbers for the QB position, threw for more than 3,400 yards with a sterling 41-2 TD-INT ratio in Fall 2023, while rushing for 800-plus yards and 15 scores.

"Wilson possesses an athletic build and profile, and he displays good foot and body quickness navigating the pocket," Cooper Petagna said. "Comfortable operating on the perimeter, gets the ball out quickly. Wilson shows above average arm strength plus the ability to throw with touch and accuracy. Strong production as a junior and encouraging athletic profile means the arrow's pointing up here."

Rating bump: Mason Mayne, 2025 DL

Following a stellar track and field season, 2025 defensive lineman Mason Mayne of Lawton (Mich.) High School rises significantly to a high three-star 88 rating on 247Sports. Mayne lives north of 50 feet in the shot put with double-digit throws eclipsing that coveted threshold, including a 60-foot, 9-inch personal best. The Northwestern pledge has also blown past the 160-foot discus mark numerous times, most recently hitting 178-0, per MileSplit. Those numbers reflect explosive, sudden power.

"Interior defensive lineman all the way who wins with power, leverage, and snap anticipation," said Andrew Ivins, 247Sports director of scouting. "Natural knee-bender who can hug the ground, while also being able to work laterally and redirect to a target. Motor seems to run hot. May need some time to develop, but likely can make an impact in the Big Ten."

New rating: Donovan Darden, 2025 edge

Debuting with a high three-star 88 rating on 247Sports is Donovan Darden, an intriguing two-point edge rusher with a favorable track and field profile who's making the transition from QB to DE. While Darden's size / frame have not been third-party verified, he looks the part on tape. Darden can build speed as he attacks the corner and displays flexibility in the lower half required to redirect and retrace. Darden is still developing his point-of-attack strength, which should come with continued position-specific and physical development. Impressively, he's been utilized occasionally as a slot defender and looks comfortable in drop-coverage duties. Overall, we view him as a green 3-4 linebacker who may need some time to progress, but possesses tools to mold for the long haul. The Havelock (N.C.) High School prospect is expected to officially visit Illinois, Pittsburgh, and South Carolina in coming weeks. -- Ivins

New rating: Jaquel Holman, 2025 ATH

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (5)

Jaquel Holman, a two-way prospect from Blackville-Hilda (S.C.) High School, logs ample running back and linebacker snaps at the prep level. The result this past fall? He ran for 1,600-plus yards and 26 touchdowns on 10.52 yards per carry, along with 76 stops, nine for loss, one sack, one interception, and three forced fumbles. Holman, who plays basketball and owns strong track data with sub-11.00 and sub-22.00 100- and 200-meter speed, respectively, debuts with a high three-star 88 rating at the athlete designation given his potential to play either way.

"Holman is a loose athlete with some big-time burst," Andrew Ivins said. "Hawks ball carriers down while working laterally and shows some redirecting ability. Seems to be somewhat comfortable in space as a defender. As a ball carrier, runs with an up-right run style, but will use jump cuts and solid vision to find green grass, then find his top gear. Overall, we view Holman as a plus athlete with developmental upside given the build and speed markers."

Rating bump: Oscar Rios, 2026 QB

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (6)

Downey (Calif.) has had a nice run on quarterbacks in recent years. Current Michigan State signal caller Aidan Chiles was the guy a couple of years ago, and now sophom*ore quarterback Oscar Rios will be a three-year starter for the Vikings.Rios had a very strong sophom*ore year as a first-time starter, throwing for 2,633 yards and 23 touchdowns as he completed 73 percent of attempts. Rios also rushed for 767 yards and seven more scores.

We saw Rios a week ago at the Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan 7-on-7 tourney, where he threw one of the best balls in the event. Rios uses a pure stroke and quick release to throw with touch and accuracy downfield. At6-3, 175, he owns a projectable frame with plenty of room to add good weight. Rios is among the top quarterbacks out west, regardless of class. After the live exposure, Rios rises to an 88 rating in the high three-star rangewith a big junior year to come. -- Greg Biggins, 247Sports national scouting analyst

Rating bump: Shelton Fuller, 2025 ATH

El Paso (Texas) Del Valle's Shelton Fuller represents another two-way prospect who rises into high three-star range with an updated 87 rating on 247Sports. Fuller ran for more than 700 yards and 10 touchdowns on 12.5 yards per carry, along with two interceptions and three pass breakups on D. While he could play either side at the college level, we view Fuller more as a safety prospect in the long run. He officially visited Oregon State earlier this month, while Utah, Texas Tech, and BYU are expected to get June OVs.

"Fuller flashes some instincts in the secondary and can be quick to trigger," Andrew Ivins said. "He will hit you. Not surprised to see Utah involved as he's got a similar profile to 2024 NFL Draft fourth-round pick Sione Vaki."

New rating: Elijiah Oehlke, 2025 QB - Wake Forest commit

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (7)

Hope Mills (N.C.) Trinity Christian's Elijiah Oehlke debuts with a strong three-star 86 rating on 247Sports and should be poised for a huge senior year after a significant increase in production from his sophom*ore to junior campaign. Oehlke, who committed a couple weeks ago to Wake Forest, threw for almost 1,500 yards with a 26-3 TD-INT ratio, while adding nine rushing touchdowns.

"Improvisational, gamer type of quarterback with an athletic frame and true dual-threat capabilities," said Andrew Ivins. "More of a touch passer at this stage who is trying top push the ball down the field and create off-schedule. Very active in the pocket and isn't afraid to tuck the footballwhen thingsbreak down. Capable of hittingtargets on the move and using trajectory to his advantage on deep shots. View him as a developmental quarterback prospect with tools and upside given hisyoung age for the 2025 cycle."

Scouting notes: Top247 CB Chuck McDonald

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (8)

At the recent Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan 7-on-7 passing tournament -- the first high school event of the year in SoCal -- Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei cruised to the championship and no player was more impressive than Top247 four-star cornerback Chuck McDonald, who has added about 10 pounds of good weight while improving his speed and short=area quickness as well. McDonald, who rose to No. 115 overall in this past week's Top247 update, looked primed for a big year on the track after running a 10.84 100-meter time early on, but strained a hamstring in the race and was never 100 percent the rest of the spring. He's pushing 6-1 and 195 pounds and can play a physical game, but his off-coverage and ability to break on the football really impressed at the aforementioned event. McDonald logged multiple interceptions and passes defended, and he looks primed for a big senior year. -- Biggins

Scouting notes: Top247 LB Madden Faraimo

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (9)

We had a chance to see San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) JSerra linebacker Madden Faraimo in action at the recent Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan 7-on-7 tournament. After battling through injuries much of his junior season,Faraimo looked great. Physically, he has really filled out and looked about 6-3, 230 pounds and chiseled. As a freshman playing at Cathedral Catholic in San Diego, Faraimo was a 6-1, 200-pound safety, but now definitely looks the part of a college inside 'backer who could also play some edge. He's active, smart, and rangy and looked very comfortable playing in space and dropping in coverage. He closes well on the football and played physical as he flattened multiple players crossing his face. Faraimo sits atNo. 123 overall in the Top247 and looks primed for a big senior year. He'll visit Washington this weekend and has June official trips set with Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Texas. -- Biggins

Scouting notes: Top247 RB James Simon - Texas commit

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (10)

Here's an updated 247Sports scouting report on Shreveport (La.) Calvary Baptist's James Simon, a top 175 overall prospect in the Top247 and new Texas pledge as of this week.

P4-caliber running back prospect with the requisite size/frame. Well-rounded back who can provide quality between-the-tackles touches, but also give his offense a pass-catching option out of the backfield or from the slot. Naturally upright in gait, but knows how to shrink his target and lower his pad level. Displays good one-cut ability with encouraging initial redirecting suddenness. Shows foot quickness in the hole that enables make-you-miss ability to get upfield. Can top out in the long speed department, but plays with good initial juice and acceleration. Does a good job protecting himself while also knowing how and when to finish runs with strength. Runs through arm tackles and possesses power to push the pile. Also has run track. Segmented, somewhat busy gait creates some wasted motion at times. Track and limited testing data suggest room to improve top-end speed. High-major running back prospect with strong production who could become a first-option back in college and an NFL Draft candidate. -- Brooks

Scouting notes: Madden Williams, 2026 WR

Weekly rankings notes: Highlighting two new 4-stars, several additional risers (11)

Although Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco took it on the chin in losing to a tough Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei team in the final at the recent Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan 7-on-7 tournament, Braves sophom*ore wideout Madden Williams was arguably the best receiver in the event. Williams has enjoyed a strong spring as he's dominated multiple offseason events and was named a top performer at Overtime OT7 events in Orlando and Dallas.

A well-built 6-1, 185 pounds, Williams is arguably the most polished route runner in the region. He has strong hands, a high football IQ, and knows how to set up an opposing corner to create separation. He's more quick than fast right now but has improved his long speed and has shown the ability to get deep and make plays in the vertical passing game. Williams is strong in the air and routinely wins jump-ball battles.Williams, who owns the highest three-star rating (89) on 247Sports, should havea big fall that could further elevate his stock. -- Biggins
