Race 1 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace

(4) AUSSIE HANOVER picked up his first win since joining Ron Burke's barn last Thursday. He does step up from the NW5000L5 class, but I think he should have picked up plenty of confidence off that victory. (1) CYRUS N downed bottom level foes on 5-4 and then was a rallying third in a NW7500L5 event on May 17. He gets some post relief off those performances as he has the pole here. (3) THE REGULATOR was second in the race won by AUSSIE HANOVER a week ago and also hit the board against NW7500L5 company prior to that.

Race 2 - F&M Invitational Trot

(5) P L NOTSONICE doesn't have to face Tipsy Moni here, and when that rival has been away, this mare has been the one to beat in this class. (2) PARISO has hit the board in all three of her tries at this level and did put in a quality effort against Tipsy Moni last Thursday. (1) PERFECT VIXEN moves inside to the pole position here and owns a win in the F&M Invitational back on 3-21.

Race 3 - 3-5YO 30000CLM Pace

(4) LAZ comes in off a win in this class last week and also won in it back in late March. Trainer Dennis Laterza continues to have a solid meet. (2) SURFSIDE BEACH is sharp with five on-the-board finishes in his last six outings, though he did burn some money most recently as he had to settle for second at odds of 1-2 on 5-13. (5) AIRY SHADOW has been outside the top three just once in four appearances since invading from Monticello. He does move outside on the gate after having the pole in a third-place result behind LAZ a week ago.

Race 4 - NW21341L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW 10 PM Races LT/60000CLM Trot

(1) SEVENSHADESOFGREY lost all chance last week when he broke but did finish out his mile in 28 and change, just like he did in a closing third-place finish at this level on 5-9. Hopefully he'll mind his p's and q's here, and I'll use. (4) TACTICAL MOUNDS doesn't have a lot of half-mile track experience but was third in a leg of the Miss Versatility Series at the Meaodwlands last time out. (5) DW'S POINT MAN tallied in this class a couple weeks ago and was third against tougher NW30000L5 company last Thursday.

Race 5 - Invitational Trot

(3) KEG STAND raced well in a second-place finish behind a classy foe in Take All Comers last Thursday and gets a bit of post relief here off that mile. (1) ROYALTY BEER was a gaining second at this level two back and then didn't have a great trip a week ago as he wound up taking a shuffle on the inside. (7) NOWS THE MOMENT has two straight wins in the Invitational Trot but starts from the far outside. I'll bank on him either have to work hard to get to the front or being positioned off-the-pace and attempt to beat him for the top spot.

Race 6 - NW30000L5/NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM Trot

(4) I GET IT scored in this class last week when he got to drop down from the Invitational and didn't have to move up the ladder here. (6) HIGHLAND MOWGLI sat in the pocket behind I GET IT a week ago and ended up second, and that's where I'm going to slot him again. (5) RESOLVE TO WIN won a couple legs of the John Brennan Trotting Series at Yonkers last month and is back after finishing third last time out at Harrah's Philadelphia in a race that included the likes of near double millionaire JL Cruze.

Race 7 - NAADA Amateur Spring Series Final Trot

(1) EXPLOSIVE RIDGE turned his form around this month with two wins and a third in his last three tries. Add in that he has an inside post for the first time in his lines, and I'll give him top call. (2) WINNERESS was third in a leg of this series at Yonkers on 4-25 and comes in off a gaining second-place result most recently at Freehold. (6) MUSCLE DAN has been in the top three in six of his last seven trips behind the gate and took legs of this series at Monticello on the 17th of April and at Yonkers on May 2.

Race 8 - 40000CLM Trot

(3) WILLY WALTON got shuffled in the pocket last week but did have some trot to finish fourth. I'll bank on a smoother journey here and swing with him. (4) FLIP THE SWITCH was the winner in the same race my top pick comes out of from last Thursday, and when this horse has gotten hot in the past, he's usually kept it going for a while. (5) THE BALLYKEEL DEAL hasn't won in this class but has hit the board in her last four tries. She was third as the favorite in that same event WILLY WALTON and FLIP THE SWITCH exit.

Race 9 - NW20000L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/60000CLM Trot

(2) FERRETTI didn't have any chance last week as he raced in last from post eight. He did pick up a couple of spots in the stretch, though, and I think he merits a chance here as he moves way inside on the gate. (6) P L OSCAR double-drops out of the Invitational Trot tonight. He went a long way on the lead before ending up second against Keg Stand in a NW30000L5 tilt on 4-18. (3) CREDIT CON was in the Invitational when last seen at Yonkers and returns here off a victory in a NW15000L5 event at Harrah's Philadelphia a week ago.

Race 10 - 40000CLM Trot

(3) LIGHTFOOTEDLEGEND took a shot against optional $60,000 claimers last Thursday and wound up fourth in a race won by the red-hot Yanks Dugout. He returns to the $40,000 claiming level tonight, and he won in this class on 5-9. (5) ALL CHAMPY needed a couple of starts to get going but since then he's finished either first or second in all of his appearances. (7) AIRMANS JACKPOT rallied by ALL CHAMPY from the pocket to get the win when they met a week ago. This is a worse post, but it's hard to ignore anything Travis Alexander's barn is sending out.
